Designed by Carl-Erik Ohlson and built at Hermanson & Kobel, Orust. Mr Ohlson´s design is much inspired by Sparkman and Stevens designs.
Topaz is a beautiful boat and has been well taken care of. Hull is African mahogany on oak, deck is thick teak and superstructure is also mahogany. Transom is new. The mast is in very good shape replaced somewhere around 1990. Standing rig was upgraded at the same time. Running rig upgraded in 2008. Engine is a Yanmar installed 1991, is seawater-cooled and runs like clockwork. Sails are 4 years old, dyed in “Egyptian cotton”. There is also a set of older sails. Spinnaker is older but in very good shape. Genua is on a furlex roll. Forestay new and furlex renovated this year.
Topaz will be in the water until 27/8 and after that you can see her on land. Her present home is on the beautiful island of Styrsö close to Gothenburg in Sweden.
Price is 33.000 EUR. A lower price can be discussed if the boat is sold before winter.
