"Winnie Marie"

Unique opportunity to acquire a truly exceptional 2010 example of a 1920's West Solent Design. "Winnie Marie", number 39, was built by Peter Nash, master craftsman of Dartmouth to the highest standards.

The hull is of fine quality larch, the keel, stem and stern post of oak, as are the ribs, and the deck is of waterproof plywood covered in half inch teak. All the deck, mast and boom fittings are of custom made bronze. The cockpit, hatch and skylight are of solid teak. The chain plates are bronze and the rigging, in matt stainless steel, is hand spliced. The sails are  in cream terylene.

Accommodation includes two berths, a chart table, an Origo 2 burner cooker. Also an echo sounder, chart plotter and VHF are aids to navigation.

"Winnie Marie" is now painted white and in near perfect condition, installed in a shed in Camaret in North Brittany, France.

The outboard engine is an extra long shaft Tohatsu 5 HP on a stern bracket. The broker speaks perfect English. The owners seek to downsize, so the price is negotiable at 100,000 euros.
